Many of our residents have enjoyed gardening when they were living in their own homes so here at Chilton House we have our own gardening club that is enjoyed by our enthusiasts. Our seedlings are taking shape and soon will be ready to be distributed into the various pots for planting at the end of March. This year we are planting a variety of vegetables from broad beans to salad to spinach.
We love the fact that our gardening club provides the added benefit of exposure to fresh air, exercise and possible quiet time. It is of course also a social activity where everyone can get involved and actually reap the benefits of their toiling!
